Same 7.9 m hull as the M 800, different brief. The M 800 Spyder is the bowrider interpretation: open forward seating, ten places instead of eight, and a 2.5 m beam. That beam is worth noting practically — it sits just inside the 2.55 m limit for unescorted road transport in most of Europe, so the boat remains trailerable where a wider hull would not be. Draft of 0.65 m is deeper than Marian's small models, which is a consideration on shallow lake shorelines.

Read the price gap carefully

At €194,000 the Spyder lists above the M 800's €184,600 despite sharing the hull. Extra seating alone rarely accounts for that, and since Marian builds to order across a 10–150 kW motor range, the likeliest explanation is a different standard drivetrain in the Spyder's base specification. Confirm this: it is the difference between paying roughly €9,400 for bow seats and paying it for a materially stronger motor and battery.

No motor, battery or speed figures are published for the Spyder either. This suits a family or a host who wants ten people aboard in comfort on an Alpine lake, and who is buying craftsmanship and layout. Anyone shopping on published performance data will find better-documented boats elsewhere at the price.
